Namaste! I’m Hari Rokaya, a content creator from the beautiful hills of Western Nepal.
I created HariRokaya.com and my social media channels to share the real stories of village life in Nepal — the people, traditions, farming, food, animals, landscapes, struggles, and simple moments that make life here special.
My videos are not about creating a perfect picture of Nepal. They are about showing life as it really is.
I was born and raised in a village in Western Nepal, surrounded by mountains, farms, animals, and a close-knit family.
Family means everything to me. My parents, my wife, my brother, and my sisters are a huge part of my life and the reason I continue working toward a better future.
Like many young people from rural Nepal, life has not always been easy. At times, I have had to leave my home and work away from my village to earn money and support my family.
But my biggest dream has always remained the same:
To return home, build a sustainable life in my village, and start my own sheep farm in the Himalayan region of Nepal.
Through my videos, I want people around the world to experience a side of Nepal that tourists do not always get to see.
You will see families cooking traditional food, farmers working in the fields, people caring for animals, children growing up in the countryside, changing seasons, mountain landscapes, local traditions, and the everyday challenges of rural life.
There are no actors and no complicated stories.
These are real people, real places, and real moments.
That is why my message is simple:
No Filter. Just Reality.
My long-term goal is to become more self-sufficient and build a sheep farm back home in Nepal.
I want to raise sheep, take care of my family, live close to nature, and continue documenting the journey along the way.
Every person who watches a video, leaves a comment, shares my work, or follows my journey becomes a small part of that dream.
